Someone creative, organized, and curious about how art and literature connect with audiences. No marketing experience required — just a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities:
Assist in creating and scheduling social media content (Instagram, TikTok, X)
Help develop marketing ideas for issues, calls for submissions, and events
Research potential partnerships with schools, art communities, and literary groups
Track engagement and suggest improvements for audience reach
Skills you’ll gain:

Creative Intern
Focus:
Branding, visual design, and artistic direction
Who we’re looking for:
A visually minded individual who enjoys design, layout, and creative problem-solving. Some familiarity with Canva, Photoshop, or other design tools is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities:
Contribute design concepts for promotional materials and issue layouts
Suggest visual branding ideas for The Alexander Review
Assist with art curation for issues and web features
Collaborate with marketing and editorial interns for cohesive campaigns
Skills you’ll gain:
Understanding visual branding
Basic design and layout techniques
Creative collaboration across teams
Portfolio-ready design pieces



Editorial Intern
Focus:
Reading submissions, editing, and shaping content
Who we’re looking for:
Someone passionate about literature, with strong attention to detail and a willingness to explore different writing styles.
Responsibilities:
Assist in reviewing submissions for clarity, quality, and fitOffer editorial feedback under the guidance of the Editor-in-ChiefResearch literary trends and help brainstorm issue themesProofread pieces for publication
Skills you’ll gain:
Editorial decision-making
Proofreading and copyediting basics
Understanding the submission and publication process
Working within an editorial calendar

At The Alexander Review, we believe growth happens through connection, collaboration, and shared creativity. Beyond our regular publication cycle, we offer a variety of ways to engage with and contribute to our work:
1. Contributor Opportunities
– Open calls for poetry, fiction, essays, visual art, and photography.
